Reporting to: National Sales Manager

We are seeking to recruit for our client a position based in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify new business while continuing to develop greater levels of business with existing clients through consistent client relationship management and customer service.
  • Motivating /managing and guiding the sales to achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Effective marketing and brand positioning of the company
  • Monitor sales and prepare sale reports for presentation and evaluation of the same with the directors.
  • Setting annual targets, conducting team performance appraisal/competency assessment and development planning.
  • Plan measure and manage the market share
  • Gather competitor’s information so as to stay ahead of competition
  • Ensure sales targets are set and achieved within a given time frame.
Other functions:
  • Sales management
  • Debtors management
  • Cost Control
  • Training and Development
  • Team development
Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing, MBA would be an added advantage
  • Professional sales/ marketing qualification e.g. CIM
  • Computer applications training
  • Self driven personality with demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.
Skills and experience required
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Past experience dealing with multiple products
  • FMCG experience is highly desirable
