Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description:  Responsible for day-to-day supervision of operations including employee engagement, production, safety, environmental, costs, and quality operations

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage new production challenges every day on the manufacturing floor, working to develop and convert temporary workers who make up about half of your assembly team.
  • Planning, coordinating, and implementation of the production schedules to ensure that production targets are met, including waste reduction.
  • Analyzing production data, timely writing and reviewing of production reports
  • Initiate programs/processes that will lead to improved product quality, less waste and overall efficiency
  • Proper supervision of staff, delegating of responsibilities and appropriate authority to operators and junior staff to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Responsible for all SOP training, and Productivity improvement training.
  • Accountable for efficiency, quality, safety and engagement of the team
  • Supervise Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication of all machines and their records and any other assignment as directed by superior.
  • Communicate and enforce KPI’s to measure efficiency of the production process.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards and ensure the hygiene standards are maintained.
Qualification/Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Food technology, science or engineering
  • Minimum 5 years work experience with training and knowledge in HACCP/ OSHA
  • Must be familiar with modern methods of production planning and supervisory skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
