Vacant Position: Exports Manager 

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Purpose: Our client, a company in the energy sector is seeking an Export Manager.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle the sales plan function for East and Central Africa.
  • Develop and help implement the Exports Sales plan that meet the company's sales and financial objectives.
  • Contributing to the firm’s strategy and direction through formulating and implementing sales, marketing and brand strategy and plans aligned to growth projections
  • Develop and review sales and marketing plan for the market to ensure attainment of company sales targets and profitability as well as address and resolve issues relating to service, pricing and customer relations.
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing information while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Ensure that all stock and financial transactions are in line with the authorized and documented financial procedures of the company.
  • Develop effective channels for distribution of the finished product to the market by providing daily updates on price surveys and transit market developments.
  • Develop strategy plans for expansion into new territory and sourcing of new clientele.
Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce
  • CPA-K Finalist.
  • 10 years experience in FMCG sector, with 5 years experience in the Oil sector.
