Information Technology Technician
The Information Technology Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, Software and networks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
- Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
- Train staff about potential uses of existing technology
- Provide individual training and support on request
- Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
- Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
- Troubleshoot all technology issues
- Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
- Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
- Research current and potential resources and services
- Install work stations, Connect and set up hardware
- Load all required software
- Monitor security of all technology
- Carrying out online marketing
Qualifications and Requirements
- A holder of IT related diploma
- 3 years and above in a similar role
- Cerification in A+, CCNA or MCSE
- Well versed with Computer hardware and software systems and programs
- Great experience in Computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Be honest, respectful, trustworthy and of good moral standing
- One that possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Has to demonstrate sound work ethics
