In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:

Head of Department - Technical Enterprise Services

Ref: TECHOLOGY-HOD-TES-MAY 2014

Reporting to the Director Technology with a dotted line to the GM-Enterprise Business Unit, the job holder will be accountable for the Technology Enterprise Services (TES) team within the Technology Division. 

He or She will oversee the TES team which will provide a complete technical implementation and support service to the Enterprise Business Unit for all products and services, including fixed, mobile and managed services, ensuring world class services throughout the sell-build-run phase of our Operating Model.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a resilient and stable Access Enterprise network that provides customer delight while ensuring compatibility with existing technologies within the network;
  • E2E management for standard and non-standard Enterprise Solutions;
  • Design and approval to proceed on non-standard solutions within sell phase;
  • Management and performance assessment of all TES Partners;
  • Delivery of contract management for Carrier and service provider, including input to contract proposals;
  • TES governance and process management;
  • Development, provision and ownership of all KPI’s and SLA reporting;
  • Designing of VAS products for Enterprise Business Units;
  • Support the Enterprise product development lifecycle that includes Implementation of enterprise products as per set URS,UAT’s and Customer Acceptance Test;
  • Overseeing maintenance of Enterprise access infrastructure;
  • Ensure functionality of  Cloud Infrastructure is within agreed thresholds;
  • Staff Management and Budget planning;
  • Development of key senior staff to fully realize potential;
Role Requirements
  • First Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, IT and technical disciplines;
  • Good commercial awareness of enterprise markets;
  • Good working knowledge of GMS, 3G & Wimax;
  • 8-10 years working experience in a technical & deployment environment, of which 3 years should have been as a Senior Manager role in a commercial/technical environment;
  • At least 3-4 working knowledge and experience in enterprise product portfolio;
