Job Title: Marketing Manager - Hotel Industry

Job Summary:


developing and supervising all Marketing & Sales activities

Developing sales forecasts as well as advertising and promotional programs and pricing strategies

Directing the sales and marketing team through the entire sales and marketing forces

Providing leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Developing and implement sales and marketing strategy

Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals

Primary responsibilities

    •    Directing and or coordinating company sales and marketing functions and personnel involved
    •    Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals
    •    Analyzing the sales statistics to determine business growth potential
    •    Establishing performance goals for all sales managers and sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis
    •    Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company
    •    Directing department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan
    •    Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company
    •    Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers and clients of the Company
    •    Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company
    •    Developing and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
    •    Direct and overseeing the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services
    •    Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
    •    Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
    •    Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
    •    Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
    •    Supervising the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
    •    Supervising the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
    •    Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
    •    Assign sales territory, target groups and sales quotas
    •    Researching competitors' products/services
    •    Developing goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to Sales Managers
    •    Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans

Education, Skills & Qualifications

    •    A university degree in Hospitality a related field is required
    •    marketing, communications, public relations certification or
    •    Minimum of 5 years experience and track record in a sales management in the leading international Hospitality industry players.
    •    Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing, public relations and/or the tourism industry is required
    •    Proof of previous sales success
    •    Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills
    •    Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
    •    Excellent communication skills
    •    Financial management skills
    •    Good time management skills
    •    Strategic planning skills are an asset
    •    Customer service oriented and has passion for the hospitality industry
