Sacco Manager

Our client, a medium size Sacco based in Mombasa is seeking to recruit a qualified, dynamic,self-motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of a Sacco Manager.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the holder of the position will have the following duties and responsibilities;
  • Overall oversight of the operations of the Sacco
  • Implementing policies on behalf of the Board.
  • Ensuring efficient allocation and management of Human Resources and other resources
  • Developing investment Strategies and advising the Board on the same.
  • Product Development and evaluation to ensure that the society achieves maximum return.
  • Ensuring that   proper Internal Controls are in place.
  • Ensuring proper Books of Accounts are kept and maintained.
  • Implement the Sacco’s Strategic Plan
Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • Diploma in co-operative management
  • CPA (K)
  • A good knowledge of computer packages (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) and relevant accounting packages. Knowledge on operating Navision software will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in a similar position for at least three (3) years
  • Be of high integrity and with no criminal record
  • Excellent command in English and Swahili
  • Able to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Demonstrated competence in financial management, with strong leadership and a team worker.
