The person

We are looking for a Business Unit Leader who will align the business to our new strategy and achieve objectives as the lead for the same. Trapos is looking for a bright, target driven Sales / Business Development Manager. You will need to be able to think on your feet, be self-motivated and well organized, with the ability to generate leads and appointments and successfully close deals.

Primary Responsibility

Principal responsibility will be to lead the sales team, ensuring the pipeline of business opportunities deliver the Company’s growth target. This will include personal sales as well as managing the team and the entire sales cycle through to closure and order processing, meeting personal as well as team sales targets and objectives as determined by the Managing Director.
Whilst managing the team the individual will generate a personal pipeline through developing leads generated and pre-qualified by Inside Sales.
The individual will also be responsible for the development of the team, forecast reviews and reporting, campaign management, and day to day activity such as monitoring the number of customer meetings and the planned objectives, outcomes and follow up actions for each sales person.
The individual will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and up to date data is in the Company’s Sales Reporting system.

Essential Skills

A demonstrable track record in direct sales, with at least 5 years’ experience. (preferable)
Some sales leadership experience would be preferable but having the attributes to build a sales team is essential.
Excellent questioning, qualification, campaign management and closing skills.
The individual will have the ability to identify appropriate sales strategies for Integra’s opportunities and execute to a sales plan.
Skillful objection handling techniques and ability to operate at all levels in an organization.
A self-starter, who thrives under pressure to achieve challenging goals.
Strong communication skills, notably being able to explain value propositions to identified key decision-makers.
Demonstrable track record of pipeline conversion and success.
Knowledge of MS-Office tools, principally Outlook, PPT, Word and Excel.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field;
Excellent communication skills with a strong degree of comfort in managing and developing direct reports;
Minimum of five (5) years working experience in technical, account or sales management preferably within the technology industry or start-up industry
