Central Kitchen Manager job

Our client, running a chain of restaurants in Nairobi is looking to fill the position of:

Central Kitchen Manager

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate food services at the central kitchen to ensure quality consistency
  • Assign work schedules and supervise kitchen employees.
  • Train kitchen employees.
  • Oversee the preparation of food.
  • Oversee Kitchen hygiene
  • Oversee product handling and Storage of the products.
  • Order and maintain adequate supplies of equipments and food.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, including all the precautions
  • Maintain accurate written recipes and product analysis report
  • Supervise the preparation of food as per direction and guidelines.
  • Monitor stocks to maintain cost of production
The successful candidate must:
  • Experience in large scale food preparation and Management
  • Training in food handling/Food Production
  • Management skills.
  • Inventory Management. 
  • Computer Skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Food Cost Knowledge
