Senior Solutions Architect

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Enterprise Service Delivery Department within the Enterprise Business Unit Division. 

In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pre-Sales, the job holder will be responsible for providing presales support by ensuring custom made solutions are designed and developed based on customer needs and the operating environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

• Support sales team in sales engagement and drive solutions based on customer requirements;
• Grow Enterprise Business revenues and market share;
• Apply specific experience to design solutions for clients;
• Achieve companywide Customer Delight Index score through timely and quality designs;
• Prepare competitive enterprise business proposals;
• Work with various stakeholder to improve design, planning and acceptance of enterprise solutions designs;
• Demonstrate the ability to coordinate various objectives from multiple internal divisions in an effort to drive value for our customers
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to management and executive level audiences
• Experience with the following is required: mobile and fixed network infrastructure, cloud and data center solutions, collaboration and unified communications, security and managed services
• Embrace the Safaricom Ways and Values in their day to day work;

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Degree in a Computer Science/Telecommunication/Information Technology or related discipline;
• At least 5 years’ experience in a network design and implementation as well as technical sales field.
• Accreditation in network or data center solutions design;
• Cisco Certification will be an added advantage;
• Sales exposure with preferably training in the same field will be an added advantage;
• Sound solutions knowledge of Enterprise services portfolio;
• Proposal writing skills will be must;
• Strong relationship building skills;
• Excellent presentation skills.
