Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate all public relations related activities including publishing brochures, handbooks, flyers, producing CDs, etc.
- Updating the County Assembly website in liaison with ICT department.
- Coordinating outreach programmes
- Preparing media releases; reacting to media reports and writing proactive media reports.
- Developing comprehensive corporate communication strategies.
- Providing professional assistance in all areas of communication, public relations and media relations.
Requirements for Appointment
- A degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Relations, Mass Communication or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized university.
- Post-graduate qualifications in Public Relations and Media or any other relevant field will be an added advantage.
- 3 years experience in public relations and media issues.
- Must demonstrate administrative management skills and sound knowledge of media, public relations and communication ability.
- Competency in use of IT as a working tool.
