Job Title: General Manager

Role Objective
The position is for a firm in the Hospitality Industry
The General Manager is responsible for successfully generating business and overseeing quality delivery of excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Being the General Manager, you will be Directly Responsible for the running of the company in the following ways;
- Develop and deliver on a successful annual business plan;
- Participate in corporate strategic planning and implement strategic goals and objectives
- Prepare budget and sales forecasts in liaison with departmental heads and directors
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the company, overseeing that work is accomplished by the managers and supervisors, and that it is consistent with corporate policies and objectives
- Oversee that the inventory management is consistent with sales, cash flow and financial goals
- Oversee sales, delivery, distribution, pricing, accounting and customer service
- Keep up with the industry trends, attend exhibitions and other corporate events for marketing purposes
- Prepare and review marketing plans and activities and ensure the review of the same is done.
- Oversee the marketing teams’ work
- Ensure set collection targets are met
- Develop global best practice standards for Clique Ltd in terms of policies and procedures for the sales and marketing department as well as operations;
- Identify business development and growth opportunities;
- Generate new business for Clique Ltd and secure repeat business;
- Regularly report to the Directors on the progress of Clique Ltd;
- Develop and manage projects budget for Clique Ltd;
- Review reporting and analytic needs for sales and marketing Operations for the company;
- Forecasting for stocks
- Act as the proponent for review and adoption across departments
Job Specification
Aspects and Requirements
Qualifications (Academic and Professionals)
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent
- Bachelors in sales and or Marketing/ hotel management
Experience
- 8 years relevant experience of which 3 are at a senior management position
- Hospitality background a must for this position for at least 3 years
- Food and beverage background highly recommended
- Sales and marketing background
- Strong Business network
Knowledge
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience working with an ERP system
- Customer relationship management
- Advertising regulations
