Technical Services Manager
Our client, a leading ICT company urgently seeks to fill the above position.
Objective
The Service Delivery manager position will be in charge of delivery of projects to our customers.
He/she is in general the key Services contact in the DSA Services Team and supports the overall account planning process and customer relationship management.
Main Duties
- Accountable for managing service delivery
- Provides a focus for SLA management and customer satisfaction across the relevant customer base. Ensure the information systems and the review structure for SLAs and client satisfaction are in place and effectively used
- Continuous and demonstrable improvement of productivity resulting in increased cost effectiveness and value. Be able to evidence these savings across relevant customer base
- Ensures and monitors that processes are in place to pro-actively protect consistent service quality through rigorous management of change control and acceptance into service procedures
- Ensures resources, capabilities and capacity to meet both existing and new business demand
- Manage day to day activities of the Support Services Team, including planning, scheduling, allocation, and progress monitoring of daily activities, aimed towards achieving their work objectives.
- Manage Support Services Team administrative tasks, such as staff attendance, timesheets, leave/travel planning and authorizations.
- Provide recommendations and manage training and other competence development initiatives for the Support Services Team.
- Provides expert problem management support to difficult, high profile customer issues and ensures root-cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with any learning applied for future benefit
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience: 4-6 years of IT experience: Minimum 4 years’ technical and 2 years’ management experience
- University degree in an ICT related discipline
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
Desirable skills:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP)
- VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure including physical server and storage hardware, and iSCSISANs
