Profile Introduction

Our client, an innovative $30 billion global diversified technology company with operations in more than 60 countries that distributes tape and adhesives, electronic connectors and devices, surgical and medical supplies and consumer products, seeks to recruit a Sales Officer- Homecare Products.

Overall Purpose of the role is to :

To achieve maximum sales growth, product penetration and profitability within an assigned market segment by effectively marketing our client’s products.

Minimum Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in Sales and Marketing or related field;
• 4-5 years of work experience in Retail/Consumer Business Sales;
• Must possess a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.

• Promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective client portfolio by building long term relationships.
• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned market segment and products to generate new business.
• Research sources and information for prospective customer development and determine their market potential.
• Deal with and resolve customer problems and complaints.
• Coordinate sales activities with marketing, supply chain and finance functions.
• Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting their profile, share and opportunities.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge, market conditions, competition activities and trends

Competencies

• Good understanding of retail/supermarket trade margins, marketing initiatives, programs and trade discounts;
• Result-oriented and able to work independently;
• Team player;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Medical clearance is required;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
